South Africa’s REIPPPP Bid Window 6 Amended to Procure a Total of 4200MW

The wind energy allocation has increased from 2600MW to 3200MW while the allocation for solar remains at 1000MW for now. The press statement released by the DMRE on 9 September reads as follows: 

The capacity increase follows the president’s announcemnet of sweeping energy reforms on 24th July 2022.. Read more
