Extract hot/polluted air in a cost-effective manner
Ventilators are a cost-effective way of extracting hot polluted air from your building indoor environment and introducing fresh air to replace it. The system is human and environmentally friendly and requires no electricity to operate. Ventilators are activated by natural convection which is also assisted by the wind. Increasingly this type of industrial ventilation is gaining acceptance in buildings replacing energy-consuming extraction systems.
The roof a building contains hot air due to heating caused by the sun and production processes. The internal building areas generally contain air that is much cooler. To allow natural convection to occur, provision is made for a vent at the top of the building roof cavity. This allows the hot air to rise out of the roof cavity and escape. The system extracts heat and induces currents of fresh air producing a substantial cooling effect on building visitors and workers plus improves the indoor air quality. The system also assists in maintaining a consistent ambient indoor temperature. Ventilators can also be wall mounted.
