Its ambitious goals include reducing four gigatons of future carbon emissions, expanding clean energy access to one billion people, and enabling 150 million new jobs worldwide. By partnering with governments, businesses, and local stakeholders, GEAPP helps overcome barriers to investment and unlock access to affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions.

Enlit Africa , a leading platform for the African energy sector, connects industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to address the continent’s unique energy challenges and opportunities. Through its events, networks, and thought leadership, Enlit Africa fosters collaboration and showcases cutting-edge solutions to power Africa’s future.

This strategic collaboration will harness the strengths of both organisations to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy projects, enhance local capacity, and attract investment to the African power sector. By combining GEAPP’s innovative financial tools and technical expertise with Enlit Africa’s extensive reach and convening power, the partnership aims to catalyse actionable outcomes that align with GEAPP’s mission and amplify opportunities for African energy stakeholders.

Green Building Africa promotes the need for net carbon zero buildings and cities in Africa. We are fiercely independent and encourage outlying thinkers to contribute to the #netcarbonzero movement. Climate change is upon us and now is the time to react in a more diverse and broader approach to sustainability in the built environment. We challenge architects, property developers, urban planners, renewable energy professionals and green building specialists. We also challenge the funding houses and regulators and the role they play in facilitating investment into green projects. Lastly, we explore and investigate new technology and real-time data to speed up the journey in realising a net carbon zero environment for our children.
