Namibia’s Nampower issues EPC tender for 70MW solar plant

  • Namibia’s state ownwed energy utility, Nampower, has issued tender for the ‘Procurement of a Contractor for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of the Rosh Pinah 70MW PV Project’. 
  • Namibia plans to build six new power generation projects totalling 220MW by 2025 to shore up grid capacity and rely less on foreign imports.
