JinkoSolar Supplies Solar Panels for 5.5MW Solar Project in Zimbabwe

  • JinkoSolar together with EPC, New Sahara Ventures, has empowered the 5.5MW Richaw Solar Farm in Gwanda, Zimbabwe.
  • JinkoSolar supplied 5MW High Efficiency Monocrystalline Panels with ultra-high performance.
  • Jinko Solar is  the largest solar panel manufacturer in the world in terms of cumulative global shipments boasting accolades for the highest quality and performance.

The project is estimated to be valued at US$4.5 Million. The community has benefitted from this  project as it has resulted in the creation of 40 rural construction jobs of which 18 are permanent. Since the installation of solar panels, it is expected that there will be multiple benefits such as  Carbon Credit Sales and Honey Making Project which will create additional jobs and additional forex revenues. The project is expected to be completed by end of 2021.
