- Natural Hydrogen, which is also known as Gold Hydrogen or White Hydrogen is formed deep underground that is formed by natural processes.
- It is not vastly different from electrical transformation of water (h2o) but it happens naturally and is stored deep under the sedimentary layers.
Golden Hydrogen lies at depths which are the same depth as oil reserves and can be extracted through the drilling of deep wells. Gold Hydrogen is formed deep underground when water is trapped in clay where the reactions of tectonic plates can split the atoms in the water and trap large quantities of Hydrogen. When water is trapped under rocks the same kind of earth movement causes the hydrogen to be captured.
Inhambane province has provided JER authorisation to explore the province, both onshore and offshore for Golden or White Hydrogen. JER will start Golden Hydrogen exploration as soon as all the geological surveys has been completed for the areas.
