  • The unified platform enables real time monitoring and control of solar plus storage systems and third-party devices.
  • AI driven scheduling and automation designed to optimise energy use and reduce costs.
  • The platform integrates more than 13 device categories within the GoodWe EcoSmart ecosystem.

PV inverter and energy storage solutions provider GoodWe has introduced SEMS+ (Smart Energy Management System+), a digital platform designed for remote monitoring and real time energy management of residential solar plus storage installations and connected devices.

The platform enables users to monitor and control distributed energy assets through a single digital interface accessible via both mobile app and web browser. According to GoodWe, SEMS+ integrates the company’s EcoSmart portfolio along with more than 13 device categories into a closed loop network, enabling centralized management of energy systems.

The platform provides real time visualisation of energy flows and asset performance through infographic dashboards that can cover anything from a single rooftop installation to a global portfolio. Users can access the same interface across mobile devices and computers, ensuring consistent visualisation regardless of the device being used.

SEMS+ also introduces several AI driven functions designed to automate system management and improve energy performance. A built-in 24-hour AI agent provides instant responses to user prompts, offering system status updates and troubleshooting guidance without requiring users to navigate complex menus.

The system’s AI scheduling function automates energy optimisation by analysing daily consumption patterns, weather forecasts and dynamic tariff data. This enables automated energy arbitrage through peak shaving and valley filling strategies, while managing battery operation to improve self-consumption and reduce electricity costs.

The platform also includes automated health monitoring tools covering solar plants, inverters, PV strings and batteries. A One Click Checkup function allows users to conduct system diagnostics, helping to identify potential faults and reduce operational risks.

For operations and maintenance teams, SEMS+ converts complex energy data into visual formats such as energy flow diagrams, Sankey diagrams and heat maps. These tools provide deeper insight into system performance and enable users to compare stations or devices, helping to quickly identify anomalies.

GoodWe said the platform is designed to simplify the management of distributed solar and storage systems while improving efficiency, lowering operating costs and supporting greater self-consumption for residential users.
