  • Global and leading solar panel manufacturer, Astronergy, has won a 15% share of China National Petroleum Corp.’s centralized purchasing order for N-type PV modules for 2024 which is equivalent to 1050 MW.
  • The order is for their high quality ASTRO N-Series modules, featuring the company’s TOPCon 4.0 cell technology.

As an intelligent manufacturing enterprise focusing on photovoltaic cells and modules, Astronergy has always been committed to providing quality products and better service to its customers. After winning 2.45GW capacity of CNPC’s bidding projects in 2023, the company won 2024 annual procurement project of CNPC with its n-type PV products equipped with the latest self-developed TOPCon 4.0 technology.

Apart from an average cell efficiency of 26.15% in mass production and a highest cell efficiency of 26.9% in laboratory, ASTRO N series module products advance themselves to perform better in power generation, bifaciality, temperature coefficient, low-light performance, as well as LID and LETID.

In 2024, the company’s plan is to reach 55GW of n-type TOCon cell capacity and 75GW of module capacity with consistent R&D dedication and service attitude.

Green Building Africa promotes the need for net carbon zero buildings and cities in Africa. We are fiercely independent and encourage outlying thinkers to contribute to the #netcarbonzero movement. Climate change is upon us and now is the time to react in a more diverse and broader approach to sustainability in the built environment. We challenge architects, property developers, urban planners, renewable energy professionals and green building specialists. We also challenge the funding houses and regulators and the role they play in facilitating investment into green projects. Lastly, we explore and investigate new technology and real-time data to speed up the journey in realising a net carbon zero environment for our children.
