  • AIKO has partnered with CrossBoundary Energy on a groundbreaking 225MW solar panel supply agreement signed at Intersolar Europe 2025

AIKO is a global-leading new energy technology company, focusing on the R&D manufacturing of solar generation products and PV-Storage-Charging integrated solutions, providing customers with solar cells, ABC (All Back Contact) modules and scenario-based packaged solutions. With the mission of โ€œEmpowering transformation towards a carbon-free eraโ€, AIKO keeps on pursuing extreme innovation and cutting-edge technology.

AIKO, boasting ABC, has been recognised as having the world’s highest efficiency solar panels, holding the top spot in rankings for module efficiency rated by pv magazine.

AIKOโ€™s high-efficiency Stellar modules will power the Kamoa Project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo โ€” Africaโ€™s largest BC deployment to date โ€” supporting renewable energy for one of the continentโ€™s major copper operations. The project is expected to cut carbon emissions by 78,750 tonnes annually and reduce reliance on diesel generators.

โ€œTogether, weโ€™re proving the value of ABC technology in high-performance, off-grid industrial applications โ€” and helping power Africaโ€™s sustainable future,โ€ said the company.

Green Building Africa promotes the need for net carbon zero buildings and cities in Africa. We are fiercely independent and encourage outlying thinkers to contribute to the #netcarbonzero movement. Climate change is upon us and now is the time to react in a more diverse and broader approach to sustainability in the built environment. We challenge architects, property developers, urban planners, renewable energy professionals and green building specialists. We also challenge the funding houses and regulators and the role they play in facilitating investment into green projects. Lastly, we explore and investigate new technology and real-time data to speed up the journey in realising a net carbon zero environment for our children.
