  • Empower New Energy has signed a 12-year solar power agreement with the manufacturing and logistics company in Morocco, Saray Immo.
  • Theย $3,5M investment covers the financing, construction and operation of two rooftop solar plants totalling a capacity of 5.8 MWp.
  • The PV plant covering 49ย 000 m2 rooftop area of Saray Immoโ€™s new and highly automated state-of-art manufacturing site will be Moroccoโ€™s largest solar rooftop plant.

Generating about 9,600 MWh the investment will cut approximately 6000 tons of CO2 per year, contributing to Moroccoโ€™s green transition agenda.
The signing event was hosted by the Norwayโ€™s Ambassador to Morocco, H.E Sjur Larsen, โ€œToday marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between Norway and Moroccoโ€, he said.
