The Africa Energy Indaba is the continent’s definitive energy event, providing an agenda that influences energy policy for Africa. With the potential of gas as an alternative energy source, the development of the gas-to-power industry anticipates major growth. The Africa Gas Platform gives attendees the opportunity to network with the captains of industry.  The IPP & PPA Conference is highly relevant as South Africa’s multiple energy procurement programmes are ramped up including an increase in capacity allocation for REIPPPP Bid Window 6 to 5200MW. The Africa Forum for Utility Regulators facilitate’s the development of effective utility regulation in support of Africa’s infrastructure development.

The Africa Forum for Utility Regulators (AFUR) will also be hosting their 19th edition of their annual conference as an Official Side Event of the Africa Energy Indaba in Cape Town from the 7 – 8 March 2023.
