  • ย Energising Development (EnDev) is a global multi-donor partnership implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft fรผr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in more than 20 countries worldwide.
  • The programme is currently funded by the governments of Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and Switzerland.ย 

In Uganda, the EnDev Programme works in close cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD). EnDev Uganda facilitates access to modern energy services for households, social institutions, and small and medium enterprises through market development for solar PV, improved cook stoves (ICS), and higher tier cooking technologies, including fostering a conducive enabling environment.

GIZ Uganda through EnDev project invites bids from competent and eligible firms to provide Consultancy Services for the Implementation of Business Development Service (BDS) Support to Cooking and Solar Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Uganda.

Qualified and experienced companies that are duly registered and operating in Uganda are encouraged to apply. Interested companies can also apply as a registered consortium with one company acting as a lead agency.
