South Africa signs MoU with the Gas Exporting Countries Forum

  • South Africa’s Ministry of Electricity and Energy,ย Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa,ย has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).ย 
  • The signing ceremony took place at the GECF Headquarters on 24 November in Doha, Qatar.

This MOU aims to foster and enhance dialogue, partnership, and cooperation between the GECF and South Africa through collaborative activities and the exchange of data, information, analysis, and best practices related to natural gas.

Additionally, this agreement will strengthen the existing MOU between Eskom and Sasol, which was signed earlier this year. Read more
