  • GREEN Solar Academy (GREEN) is excited to announce the opening of a new Academy in Botswana Gaborone in partnership with Shane D Electrical. 
  • The facilities are ready and prepared to take in the first participants in August this year.
  • So, from August 2022, you can get internationally accredited solar training in Botswana!

GREEN has partnered with solar installer and distributor Shane D Electricals to open a GREEN Solar Academy in Gaborone and the first training kicks off on 29 August.

Introductory course

The 2-day introductory solar course focuses on equipping participants with the fundamental and relevant knowledge to understand solar PV and is the foundational step in pursuing a specialisation in PV systems in an advanced level course. This is a course is ideal for anyone who has no experience in the solar industry and is interested in finding out more. Attendees will get an introduction in the electro-technical basics and the functionality of PV systems and PV components. As well as an introduction to becoming a PV installer and understanding renewable energies laws and regulations. This course focuses on equipping you with the fundamental and relevant knowledge to understand solar PV.
