According to Corporate Knights, the Global 100 companies represent the top group worldwide in terms of sustainability performance. To compile the 2024 ranking, Corporate Knights assessed 6,733 global companies with annual sales of more than USD 1 billion on the basis of up to 25 quantitative sustainability indicators such as sustainable sales, sustainable investments, consideration of sustainability goals in management board remuneration, diversity in management and taxes paid. The key figures were weighted differently in order to reflect the impact profile of each sector individually.
