Madagascar launches solar PV tender totalling 210MW

  • Madagascar’s Ministry of Hydrogen and Hydrocarbons has announced two solar PV tenders totalling 210MW.
  • A 200MW plant will be located at Ihazolava, in the south-eastern part of the Vakinankaratra region while a 10MW plant will be constructed nearMahajanga, a port city on Madagascar’s north-west coast and capital of the Boeny region.
  • Submission deadline is 9 August 2023.
