Living Future Institute CEO Steps Down

  • Amanda Sturgeon, CEO of the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) has decided to step down after ten years of service.
  • The ILFI has evolved to offer arguably the best set of green building rating tools in the world through the inclusion of transparent performance outcome monitoring and reporting. Read more  
  • Under Sturgeons leadership there have been 650 Living Building projects in 23 countries, two international Institutes, 27 affordable housing projects, and hundreds of Declare labels.

In her departure message, Sturgeon emphasised that the institute is now positioned for scale. She added “Our success is possible because of the incredible community that shares our vision and demonstrates an unwavering commitment to its realization. I am so proud of the journey that we have been on together. Thank you for your support of ILFI’s mission: to catalyze the transformation toward a more culturally rich, socially just and ecologically restorative future. I will be eternally proud of what we have accomplished together over the last decade, and am deeply grateful for your support”.

The ILFI has pioneered authentic and inclusive green building design and construction under a framework that reconnects building users with nature. Read more
