JinkoSolar was the Biggest Exporter of Solar Panels to Kenya in 2021

  • JinkoSolar (Jinko) was the leading solar panel exporter to Kenya in 2021 according to China Export.
  • Jinko Solar is the largest solar panel manufacturer in the world in terms of cumulative global shipments boasting accolades for the highest quality and performance.

Recent research from China Export, one of the trusted sources of market information in China, indicates that in Kenya, Jinko is the leading PV module exporter for the year 2021. China market Brand report shows that the five leading vendors for the year 2021 in Kenya account for more than 80% of the PV modules in the market, with Jinko taking the number 1 position having shipped close to 50MW of PV modules which is approximately 50% of the total market share.

Jinko has supplied its solar panels to three utility projects in Kenya amounting to a total of 150MW in Garrisa and Eldoret over the passed three years.
