JinkoSolar supplies solar panels for 3MW solar project in Botswana

  • Jinko Solar has supplied their top quality solar panels for the groundbreaking 3MW Solar PV plant in Bobonong, Botswana developed by Sturdee Energy.

This plant is the first small-scale grid-tied solar PV plant developed in Botswana by Independent Power Producers under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement between Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) and Sturdee Energy. The completion and commercialization of the 3MW solar PV plant represents a key milestone in advancing energy security and improving access to a reliable and adequate electricity supply in Botswana.
