- JinkoSolar has announced that that shipments of its n-type TOPCon solar panels have surpassed 100 GW.
- The globally respected and high quality solar panel manufacturer said it reached this milestone in 18 months, selling to more than 4,000 corporate clients in 148 countries and regions.
- The production efficiency of its n-type TOPCon cells has increased from 24.5% to 26.3% and expects it to exceed 26.5% by the end of this year.
JinkoSolar is targeting a production capacity of monocrystalline wafers, high-efficiency cells and modules of 120GW, 110GW and 130GW in 20204, respectively, of which n-type modules will account for more than 90% of this capacity.

Much of JinkoSolar’s focus shifted towards tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) cell mass production, which began in 2019. In April, the first phase of JinkoSolar’s 56GW vertically integrated base project in Shanxi province has been put into operation. This project is also the industry’s largest n-type integrated production base. Read more
