  • JinkoSolar, a global company committed to sustainability and innovation,  has released its global leading 2024 ESG Annual Report.
  • JinkoSolar also recently achieved an impressive ESG score of 69, ranking first among the top five PV module manufacturers,in S&P Global’s latest Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) results.
  • This achievement underscores the company’s outstanding performance in climate strategy and product management, reflecting its unwavering commitment to green innovation and sustainable development.

The S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) is one of the most authoritative and extensive ESG ratings globally and serves as a key tool for mainstream investment decisions in international markets. By quantifying companies’ information disclosure and performance across three dimensions—environmental, social, and governance—the CSA reflects corporate sustainability performance, enabling investors and stakeholders to assess companies’ sustainable development capabilities and risks.

MSCI (Ming Sheng), an authoritative international indexing organization, also released the results of JinkoSolar’s ESG rating for 2024. With its outstanding performance in the ESG field, JinkoSolar scored a BBB rating for two consecutive years. At the same time, JinkoSolar’s ratings on a number of key topics, such as cleantech opportunities, corporate governance, and corporate behavior, are at an industry-leading level.

MSCI ESG Ratings is one of the most authoritative international ESG evaluation systems, which aims to measure a company’s ability to manage financial risk in the face of key environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. Because of the high authority and credibility of its ESG ratings, it has become an important basis for investment in the international capital market.

As the first solar company to join the RE100 and EP100 global green initiatives, JinkoSolar has been pioneering a governance model that integrates digital tools to manage climate risks effectively. Through green manufacturing, industry-wide carbon reduction strategies, and enhanced intelligent control, the company has emerged as a leader in sustainable operations. By Q3 2024, JinkoSolar achieved a record 53.3% renewable energy usage, the highest among PV manufacturers globally.

Moreover, JinkoSolar is committed to providing clean, safe, economical, and smart energy to the world through its innovative technologies and products, offering economically viable solutions to combat global climate change. As the first company in the industry to achieve a fully integrated “wafer-cell-module” zero-carbon factory and receive TÜV Rheinland’s “Zero-Carbon Factory” certification, JinkoSolar also pioneered the launch of the Neo Green module, manufactured entirely with renewable energy. By the end of 2024, JinkoSolar’s cumulative module shipments are estimated at approximately 300 GW, equivalent to a reduction of 13.986 billion tons of carbon emissions.
