JinkoSolar has received the prestigious Digital Trust Gold Award from the British Standards Institution (BSI) in recognition of its digital security governance and compliance management capabilities.
The award was presented during the 9th Smart and Connected Summit and BSI’s 125th Anniversary Celebration, which brought together more than 400 representatives from the energy, technology, manufacturing and financial sectors.
BSI recognised JinkoSolar for aligning its digital security and compliance systems with international standards, reinforcing the company’s position as a leading global supplier of photovoltaic and energy storage solutions.
JinkoSolar said it has significantly strengthened its digital governance framework, introducing a four tier management structure covering decision making, management, execution and oversight. The company’s senior management team and Data Protection Officer jointly oversee information security and privacy protection initiatives.
In 2025, the company secured ISO/IEC 27001 certification for Information Security Management Systems and ISO/IEC 27701 certification for Privacy Information Management Systems.
On the compliance front, JinkoSolar said it has integrated compliance management with enterprise wide risk management across eight key areas, including corporate governance, anti-commercial bribery, intellectual property and trade compliance.
The company also obtained ISO 37301:2021 certification for its Compliance Management System in 2025, covering all eight operational compliance areas.
JinkoSolar said robust governance practices remain fundamental to its long term sustainability strategy as it continues expanding its global clean energy operations. The company added that it will continue enhancing its cybersecurity and compliance systems to support trusted and resilient business growth worldwide.
