  • Jearrard Energy Resources Ltd (JER) has signed a long-term offtake agreement with Nexus Launch Services, marking a significant milestone in JER’s strategy to become a key supplier of green hydrogen and oxygen to emerging industries.
  • JER is a developer of large-scale green hydrogen production projects in Mozambique, providing affordable, scalable, and sustainable energy solutions to meet global demand for renewable fuels.

Under the agreement, JER will supply Nexus Launch Services with:

  • Green Hydrogen – 10 000 tons per month
  • Oxygen – 40 000 tons per month
  • Bio-Methane – 11 000 tons per month

Nexus Launch Services, which is developing a spaceport in Mozambique, will utilize the fuels to support spacecraft launches and satellite deployment operations. The agreement highlights the growing demand for sustainable fuels in high-technology sectors and underlines JER’s ability to deliver low-carbon energy solutions to specialized markets.

To meet Nexus’s operational requirements, JER will deliver the fuels via a dedicated underground pipeline network connecting its facilities to the spaceport. In addition, JER will build and maintain on-site storage infrastructure at Nexus’s spaceport to ensure continuous supply of hydrogen, oxygen, and bio-methane.

This partnership reflects JER’s commitment to leveraging Mozambique’s renewable energy potential to support global decarbonization efforts and advanced industrial applications.

“This offtake agreement with Nexus Launch Services demonstrates the growing importance of green hydrogen and its by-products in non-traditional sectors such as aerospace. We are proud to support Nexus’s innovative operations and to contribute to the advancement of sustainable energy solutions in Africa,”said JER CEO Marcus Allington.
