JCM Power signs PPA for 30MW Sable Solar Project in Zimbabwe

  • JCM Power has signed the PPA Head of Terms with Africa GreenCo for the 30MW Sable Solar Project in Zimbabwe.

The Sable Project is a proposed 30MW grid-connected, ground-mount solar PV project located near Kwekwe, adjacent to the Sable Chemicals facility. The Project is in mid-stages of development and is being developed through a joint venture between JCM Power, Tatanga Energy and Masawara.

The consortium brings a wealth of experience (with internal engineering, finance, environmental and social, and development expertise) and has a proven track record of developing, constructing, operating, and maintaining solar PV projects in the region.
