  • Global and high quality inverter manufacturer, GoodWe, has unveiled its Home Energy Management System (HEMS) strategy tailored for residential customers, particularly in the European market.
  • In response to rising energy costs and the introduction of dynamic tariffs, this innovative HEMS enables homeowners to optimize energy consumption and maximize their return on investment.

โ€œThe introduction of our HEMS is the result of extensive market research and customer feedback. GoodWe has observed a rapid acceleration in the electrification of home loads and the adoption of renewable energy. Weโ€™re excited to introduce our HEMS solution, which empowers homeowners to take a proactive approach to managing their energy use,โ€ said Ali Bouattour, Technical Director at GoodWe Europe GmbH.

GoodWe collaborates with leading EMS brands to ensure compatibility between its series of inverters and third-party systems through communication protocols. The HEMS solution provides users with a range of functions, such as self-consumption, load management, grid support, and dynamic pricing management.

โ€œThanks to these functions, households will be able to make informed decisions about their energy use, such as when to use their self-generated power or benefit from incentives during periods of negative pricing.โ€ Ali Bouattour added.

The launch of this HEMS is set to enhance GoodWeโ€™s EcoSmart Home lineup of residential energy solutions, integrating with the companyโ€™s existing range of products, including inverters, batteries, EV chargers, and BIPV products. It will also serve as a future-proof solution designed to adapt to evolving market conditions and technological advancements.

Committed to staying at the forefront of industry trends and standards, GoodWe has released a whitepaper detailing its HEMS features and solutions to current challenges in energy management and dynamic pricing.
