GoodWe has announced the launch of its new three phase ESA All in One energy storage solution following strong market uptake of its single phase ESA Series. The latest system is designed for residential and small commercial and industrial applications, combining solar generation, battery storage and intelligent energy management into a single integrated platform.
The company says the new solution responds to growing demand for scalable, high performance energy systems that are easy to deploy and adaptable to changing energy needs. By integrating multiple functions into one unit, the three phase ESA system aims to deliver higher efficiency, greater energy independence and long term peace of mind for users.
The system features a pre wired modular design that enables fast installation and commissioning. One click configuration and upgrade options allow installers to bring systems online quickly while reducing complexity on site. GoodWe has also focused on future proofing, with four battery module options available at 5, 6, 8 and 9 kWh. Users can expand capacity over time using a mix of new and existing battery modules without replacing original equipment.
In terms of scale, the system supports up to 12 battery modules for a total storage capacity of 108 kWh. Up to six systems can be connected in parallel for both on grid and off grid operation, making the solution suitable for a wide range of residential and small C and I scenarios, from homes to light commercial facilities.
GoodWe says the three phase ESA has been engineered to maximise power output while minimising upfront and lifecycle costs. Dual output ports simplify system architecture by reducing the need for additional devices, lowering installation time and long term maintenance requirements. Full off grid capability is also supported, offering greater resilience in areas with unstable grid supply.
High performance charging and discharging at 1C allows faster energy cycling, enabling the same power output with fewer battery modules. The system supports 21A per string PV input and up to 200 percent PV oversizing, allowing users to capture more solar energy and increase self consumption. This design helps improve returns on investment while maintaining stable power supply during periods of low solar generation or high demand.
The ESA three phase system operates in conjunction with GoodWe’s SEMS Plus intelligent energy management platform. Using AI based algorithms, the platform forecasts solar production using weather data and optimises charging and discharging behaviour to maximise energy utilisation. Users also gain access to detailed consumption data and revenue reporting, supporting more informed energy management decisions.
Safety and reliability are central to the design. The system incorporates six layer protection and advanced arc fault circuit interruption technology to guard against overheating, overcurrent, short circuits and arc faults. It is rated IP66 for dust and water protection and includes a built in heating function to ensure reliable operation in temperatures as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius.
For residential environments, GoodWe has prioritised comfort and continuity. Smart fan cooling keeps operating noise below 35 dB, while ultra fast backup switching in under 4 milliseconds ensures uninterrupted power during grid outages.
With the launch of the three phase ESA All in One, GoodWe continues to expand its energy storage portfolio from single phase to three phase systems and from residential to small commercial applications.
