Astronergy’s green supply chain attracts attention in Brazil

  • Themed ‘Innovation and Sustainability’, a panel discussion held during the Energyear Brazil on Jan. 31st saw the sharing about Astronergy’s green supply chain forming and other sustainability practices from Eduardo Gama Tamburus, Astronergy Country Manager Brazil, attracted attention and discussions on the company’s green commitment and firm actions to greener future.

Astronergy, flagging ‘For A Greener World’ as its slogan, is a pioneer in n-type TOPCon PV modules and a leading force in promoting practicable sustainability actions.

During the panel discussion, Eduardo introduced the company’s green supply chain strategy, built on four key pillars: green design and recycling, green supplier management, green manufacturing, and green data disclosure, which made attendees at the Energyear event understand the company’s sustainability strives.

As a company with 12 manufacturing bases in the whole world, Astronergy’s green supply chain system will benefit its upstream and downstream partners in China, Thailand, Turkey and the U.S., and act as an important force to help its suppliers grow sustainably and take positive effects on the global transition process.

Astronergy Yancheng Manufacturing Base, the first zero-carbon factory certified by TÜV Rheinland in the PV industry, was mentioned by Eduardo as a great example to showcase the company’s achievement in the green supply chain and in benefiting a greener world. Read more 

According to his introduction, the zero-carbon factory would be a model project to be promoted in more of the company’s manufacturing bases. In 2028, eight of its manufacturing bases in the world will be upgraded as zero-carbon factories to offer greener products for renewable energy to customers in markets.

Against the backdrop of energy transition and promoting carbon neutrality, Astronergy will be a critical force to provide greener energy with its greener products.
