The UL Solutions Witness Test Data Program (WTDP) authorizes selected laboratories to conduct tests under the supervision of UL Solutions. Test results obtained from these laboratories are directly accepted by UL Solutions, streamlining the certification process for products. Strictly Following UL/IEC standards, these authorized laboratories can ensure the accuracy and reliability of testing reports that are internationally recognized.

Established in 2016, the Astronergy PV Testing Center is able to carry out more than 30 types of tests to ensure the effective operation of PV modules under all kinds of harsh conditions before mass production. So far, the Astronergy PV Testing Center has earned certifications as a CNAS Accredited Laboratory, a CTC Accredited Laboratory, and a TÜV Rheinland Witness Test Laboratory.

With the UL Solutions’ WTDP laboratory certification, the Astronergy PV Testing Center can now conduct relevant product testing utilizing its own laboratory equipment under the on-site supervision of UL Solutions’ engineering and technical experts. This will significantly reduce sample shipment costs, testing wait time, and other relevant problems, thereby shortening product testing cycles, enhancing testing efficiency, accelerating new product launches, and facilitating rapid entry into target markets.

Green Building Africa promotes the need for net carbon zero buildings and cities in Africa. We are fiercely independent and encourage outlying thinkers to contribute to the #netcarbonzero movement. Climate change is upon us and now is the time to react in a more diverse and broader approach to sustainability in the built environment. We challenge architects, property developers, urban planners, renewable energy professionals and green building specialists. We also challenge the funding houses and regulators and the role they play in facilitating investment into green projects. Lastly, we explore and investigate new technology and real-time data to speed up the journey in realising a net carbon zero environment for our children.
