Astronergy plans to set up manufacturing plants in the USA and Turkey

“Besides the United States, Astronergy has ready to construct another overseas manufacturing plant in Turkey and more manufacturing capacities at the up-and down-stream are planned to own in countries of major continents. We will and certainly will be a major force in world’s green energy sector”, said Samuel Zhang, the chief marketing officer (CMO) at Astronergy, in panel discussion during Astronergy Solar Party held in Germany on Dec. 7.

Centered ‘Inspiration, Community and Fun’, the Solar Party has gathered PV industry insiders, media, value chain partners, and friends to share insights on solar industry, and to network with each other. And as the highlight of the party, a panel discussion was held on items related to TOPCon tech developing trend, how tech improves different projects, European inventory, product prices and oversea capacity and supply chain traceability.

“For certainty, Astronergy is still on its developing path. For stable and positive development, we continuously dive into frontier PV techs and proper products for all possible scenarios” said Samuel during the discussion, “these are our foundations for more deployment in manufacturing capacities in different countries”.

Price fluctuation is inevitable when more companies entering the market, tech changing and more techs utilizing, added Samuel, for project developers, they need a period to consider the quality and cost performances of new techs and choose the acceptable one; for distributors, they are partly constricted by the end-users, so we and they need do more to tell customers about the new techs and their benefits; and finally, the price will on the track of a healthy path.

“As our CTO – Dr. Alex Hsu said, TOPCon will be the mainstream tech for next three to five years, and as a pioneer in n-type TOPCon PV modules, Astronergy is confident to promote the tech enters 27% conversion era in early 2024”, Samuel said. “And we’ve also ready for other frontier techs. Nowadays, the costs and stability of other techs are not enough for widespread use. From the market and marketing perspective, the cost performance of a product are still the key element that may decide whether it will at large proportions of market”.

Being one of the few enterprises that has established a complete supply chain traceability system and complies with relevant restrict import regulations in main regions worldwide, Astronergy has certified its strengths in its supply chain management and commitment to be sustainability.

Europe is still one of the most important markets for us, claimed by Samuel at the end of the discussion, although the swerving market situation, Astronergy to keep strives for offering accurate demands from various customers. And as a social responsible enterprise, Astronergy to keep expanding in a peaceful path to create job opportunities, promote green techs by boosting local manufacturing in each market.
