The Solar Show Africa 2019 is Africa’s largest solar exhibition. The show welcomes over 8000 attendees from all over Africa and the rest of the world. It is co-located with Power & Electricity World Africa 2019, and one of Africa’s largest and longest running power and energy events. The show is currently taking place at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg today and tomorrow (26th and 27th March 2019).

There is something for everyone

The exhibition showcases leading solar panel and inverter manufacturers plus EPC contractors, developers and consulting engineers. Cable and combiner box suppliers, measurement and control systems suppliers plus the latest in metering and billing are also on show. Service providers include financiers, law firms and consulting engineers.

One notable new feature to the show is the StartUp Pavilion where new energy start-up companies are given an opportunity to present their product or service offering. The area has created quite a buzz and the young start-ups are relishing the opportunity to engage potential new customers. All credit to the show organisers, Terrapin, for addressing the desperate need to include the low hanging fruit in the South African plus African energy sectors.
