  • JinkoSolar was chosen as the preferred solar panel supplier for the 984 KWp rooftop project, recently installed at a Commercial factory in the Cape Winelands, South Africa
  • This system features 1,773 of our state-of-the-art Jinko 555W Solar Panels.
  • The EPC contractor responsible for the installation is GreenSun Renewable Energy.

The installation of the solar PV system enables the factory to generate nearly 1 MW of clean solar energy, decrease dependence on the grid and lower energy expenses. The intelligent system also allows seamless integration with a generator for backup power and additional savings.

JinkoSolar recently made the 2024 Fortune China ESG Impact List. It is worth noting that the Tiger Neo modules of the Neo Green series, released by JinkoSolar at the beginning of this year, are all produced in a “zero-carbon factory” certified by TÜV Rheinland. This achievement not only showcases the JinkoSolar’s commitment to environmental protection in the product production process but also reflects its leadership in promoting the industry’s green transformation. Green Building Africa promotes the need for net carbon zero buildings and cities in Africa. We are fiercely independent and encourage outlying thinkers to contribute to the #netcarbonzero movement. Climate change is upon us and now is the time to react in a more diverse and broader approach to sustainability in the built environment. We challenge architects, property developers, urban planners, renewable energy professionals and green building specialists. We also challenge the funding houses and regulators and the role they play in facilitating investment into green projects. Lastly, we explore and investigate new technology and real-time data to speed up the journey in realising a net carbon zero environment for our children.
