- GoodWe has launched its nextgen ET Series 75–100kW three-phase hybrid inverters, designed specifically for commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage applications.
- Positioned as the centrepiece of the company’s C&I portfolio, the new inverters promise improved efficiency and end-to-end flexibility, thanks to enhanced power generation and robust backup capabilities.
- When paired with GoodWe’s BAT 100–112kWh high-voltage battery and 125kW Static Transfer Switch (STS), the ET 75–100kW is being positioned as a leading solution for a broad range of C&I scenarios.
Enhanced efficiency and full-chain flexibility
The ET 75–100kW features eight MPPTs, supports up to 200% DC input oversizing, and offers 42A per MPPT input, ensuring strong performance even with high-current 182/210mm modules. These capabilities enable significant gains in energy harvest in complex commercial environments.
The system supports both AC and DC coupling, giving installers greater choice and compatibility with varied project requirements. AC coupling is suited to retrofitting storage onto existing PV systems, avoiding changes to existing wiring and equipment. DC coupling, meanwhile, reduces conversion stages and cuts energy losses, boosting round-trip efficiency by more than 2%.
GoodWe has also designed the new inverter line for easy expansion. Dual 110A independent battery inputs—offering up to 220A for charge and discharge—deliver the power needed for peak-shaving, backup operations and rapid load response, all essential in demanding C&I settings.
Focus on safety and reliability
Safety has been highlighted as a central feature of the ET 75–100kW. The series has received the TÜV Rheinland Certificate for Comprehensive Environmental Adaptability, confirming reliable operation in challenging outdoor conditions.
The inverters incorporate AFCI 3.0 and RSD 2.0 for fast arc-fault detection and rapid shutdown, while temperature monitoring on both AC and DC terminals helps prevent overheating. Additional protective measures, including PV reverse polarity and ISO protection, further reduce system risks.
A smart DC circuit breaker automatically trips in cases such as reverse polarity, terminal overheating or internal short circuits, swiftly isolating faults to protect both equipment and personnel.
Backup power and scalable design
Paired with the company’s 125kW STS, the ET 75–100kW offers UPS-level backup performance, with transfer times under 4ms to protect critical loads during grid disturbances. The STS also features a smart port design capable of managing generator start-stop control and switching between generators and large loads.
When combined with GoodWe’s BAT 100–112kWh high-voltage batteries, the inverter forms a plug-and-play storage solution designed for both power and efficiency, allowing batteries to discharge near their maximum rated capacity.
The solution has also been engineered for diverse installation environments. With operating noise kept below 60dB, it is suited to noise-sensitive locations such as offices and public facilities. Smart reverse-rotation fans assist with dust removal, while 110% three-phase unbalanced load capability and short-term 150% AC overloading help it manage motors, compressors and other demanding industrial loads.
For larger projects, up to 15 units can be connected in parallel using the SEC3000C smart energy controller, which also enables mixed parallel operation with GoodWe’s grid-tied inverters for additional expansion flexibility.
With its combination of the ET Series 75–100kW inverter, STS 125kW, BAT 100–112kWh batteries and SEC3000C controller, GoodWe is offering a scalable, safety-focused and high-performance energy storage platform designed to grow alongside customers’ future operational needs.
