Title: Technical Sales Executive
Location: Cape Town & Johannesburg
Salary: R240K – R480K per annum + commission
Description: Are you a ‘hybrid’ between an off-the-charts Sales Executive and PV technical guru? We are looking for a Technical Sales Executive who is 100% client-facing and can use their technical know-how of PV equipment as well as brilliant communication skills to close tough negotiations. This role will require you to have a practical understanding of your clients’ needs coupled with strong sales experience in tier 1 PV products.
To be the person our client is looking for, you will be a professional who is always abreast of new product offerings as well as able to hunt down leads with emerging and existing players in the EPC environment. With this robust foundation of experience under your belt, you will be able to formulate intelligent sales pitches that enable you to sell PV solutions to EPC’s operating in the commercial and industrial space and assist in offsetting their client’s energy consumption and peak demand requirements. In this sense, you will be fully knowledgeable of the components which make up an installation and able to advise on optimal solutions that best meet their budget. You will be an expert with a zest for life and renewables – it is about making a difference and meeting net-zero goals. As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be analytical, driven by stats and financials but also a people’s person – able to sell ice to an Eskimo.
