Reduce Your Consumption

In most factories, electricity is not simply seen as an overhead cost. The ever increasing cost of electricity has forced factories to include electricity as a cost centre for each job. There are now strong incentives for Factory Owners to improve energy efficiency in their factories in order to stay competitive. Any savings on electricity will have a positive effect on the bottom line. In many cases, energy saving initiatives can also have a positive effect on the working environment, productivity and general worker moral.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_images_carousel images=”71455,71538,71820,71537,71607,71589,71595″ img_size=”full” speed=”4500″ autoplay=”yes” wrap=”yes” css=”.vc_custom_1463577936429{padding-top: 5px !important;}”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1463499752226{margin-bottom: 30px !important;}”]Thankfully the cost burden is eased by government incentives in the form of carbon credits, tax incentives, subsidies or rebates for specific energy saving initiatives. These rebates can also be offered at regional and local government.

The starting point to optimal energy efficiency is to study your daily, weekly, monthly and yearly energy consumption by analysing your electricity bill or using a reliable metering device like an efergy meter. Energy consumption is also determined by behaviour, new building additions and the quality of maintenance which also need to be assessed and monitored. Once energy demand profiles are determined, you can then decide which incentive will cost the least but make the biggest impact on savings. This may include replacing your factory lighting, replacing conventional hot water tanks with solar geysers/tanks or even producing your own electricity by installing a photovoltaic system or wind turbine.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”#dddddd” type=”normal” thickness=”1″ up=”” down=”10px” el_class=”dotted”][vc_row_inner css=”.vc_custom_1461658274758{padding-top: 30px !important;}”][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]
