Worm Farms
Worm Farms can be novelty feature, an education feature for your guest’s kids and a wonderful marketing tool. More importantly, they are a great way to recycle your hotel food scraps and waste into fertile compost. Instead of disposing your hotel food waste in the trash can, feed your worm farm with it. It’s a natural and organic way of disposing of your food waste and can be done on a large scale. Studies have shown that worm castings enhance germination, plant growth and if you have a veggie garden as a hotel feature , enhance your crop yield. They also add micro organisms to the soil and improve water holding capacity.
