Wärtsilä Energy team attends the Zambia International Mining & Energy Conference

  • The Wärtsilä Energy team attended ZIMEC (Zambia International Mining & Energy Conference) to discuss the development of the sector with other thought-leaders and stakeholders.
  • Louis Strydom, Director of Growth and Development (AFEU) and Fredrik Olson, Business Development Manager for East and Southern Africa, enjoyed several high-level conversations about Wärtsilä’s role in providing energy to the mining industry across the region.

Wärtsilä Energy offers an integrated hybrid energy solution, incorporating an energy storage system, an existing solar array, an existing power generator to reduce fuel-dependence, cut carbon emissions and optimise mining operations. To round it off, Wärtsilä, offers complete asset optimisation via GEMS automated and forecasted data to enable energy production security and efficiency.
