Power & Electricity World Africa Delivers Once Again!

Terrapinn , the organisers of The Power & Electricity World Africa & The Solar Show Africa held last week at the Sandton Convention centre delivered once again. The show was a roaring success and record attendance was recorded across the multiple exhibition platforms.

The conference attendee’s gained valuable insights from world class industry experts who delivered informative talks on the challenges the energy sector faces on the African Continent. The panel discussions offered particular reference to the African context and how to unlock value in Iot, the fourth industrial revolution, smart technology, renewable energy, energy storage, generation, transmission and creative financial modelling.

The movers and shakers in the energy sector on the African Continent were all in attendance including government and private sector stakeholders from no less than 70 countries. The networking opportunities were endless with the organisers offering meeting pods scattered throughout the exhibition halls.

Visitors got first-hand experience and live demonstrations on the latest innovative technologies in Africa. Plenty of insights were shared by the industry experts at the free on-floor seminars: Women In Energy, EPC University, Energy For Commerce, Skills Development, Solar Tech Talks, Install Renewables, Gen Talks, Smart Electricity and the Future Tech Zone.

Each pavilion was packed with leading solution providers showcasing cutting-edge innovation. A new introduction for energy sector start-ups was featured this year. There was a distinct buzz around this pavilion with young, vibrant entrepreneurs eager to showcase their product or service offering.

The Power & Electricity World Africa & The Solar Show Africa remains Africa’s premier conference and exhibition servicing the energy sector.  If you missed it this year be sure to attend next year.
