Namibia Announces 20 MW Khan Solar PV IPP Project Tender

  • Namibia’s energy utility, Nampower, has announced a 20MW solar Pv project tender on a build-own- operate basis.
  • The facility will connect to the Khan substation.
  • Bid closing date is Friday 17th January 2020 at 11h00 a.m. (Namibian time).

The total Namibian shareholding shall not be less than 45%. Nampower shall award the Contract to the Bidder whose offer has been determined to be the highest-ranked bid and is substantially responsive to the Bidding Documents, provided further that the Bidder is determined to be qualified to perform the Contract satisfactorily as per qualification criteria.
