  • Jinko ESS, the global leading ESS supplier, has been once again recognised by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BloombergNEF) as a Tier 1 energy storage manufacturer in its latest 4Q 2024 ranking.
  • This distinction affirms Jinko ESSโ€™s continuous innovation and its impactful contributions to the worldwide energy transition.

Recognised globally as a key provider of both solar and energy storage solutions, Jinko is dedicated to advancing energy storage technology across diverse applications. Its range of energy storage products caters to utility-scale, commercial and industrial, as well as residential sectors, reflecting Jinkoโ€™s versatility and its commitment to driving clean energy adoption worldwide.

One of Jinko ESS’s standout offerings, the SunTera G2 energy storage system, combines a high-capacity 5MWh storage with an efficiently compact 20-foot container. With a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and equipped with advanced liquid cooling technology, SunTera G2 maximises power density and ensures safe, reliable operation even under demanding conditions. Its multi-level fire protection system and durable design further enhance its resilience and security.

The innovative design of the SunTera G2 allows for a back-to-back and side by side layout, improving space efficiency by over 37% and pushing the system’s round-trip efficiency (RTE) to more than 94%. Additionally, with an error margin for full lifecycle state of charge (SOC) estimation of under 3% and a 20% reduction in auxiliary power consumption, the system is optimized for cost-effective, long-term performance. Intelligent operations and maintenance (O&M) feature further ensure reliability and lower O&M costs, solidifying SunTera G2 as one of the most advanced and cost-effective storage solutions on the market.

Green Building Africa promotes the need for net carbon zero buildings and cities in Africa. We are fiercely independent and encourage outlying thinkers to contribute to the #netcarbonzero movement. Climate change is upon us and now is the time to react in a more diverse and broader approach to sustainability in the built environment. We challenge architects, property developers, urban planners, renewable energy professionals and green building specialists. We also challenge the funding houses and regulators and the role they play in facilitating investment into green projects. Lastly, we explore and investigate new technology and real-time data to speed up the journey in realising a net carbon zero environment for our children.
