E Vehicle Manufacturer Mitsubishi Offers Home Solar Charger Package

Japanese vehicle manufacturer has launched their Dendo Drive House, a residential solar-plus-storage charging unit that can charge electric or hybrid cars. The unique charging package was launched at the Geneva International Motor Show last year.

Dendo Drive House will be available to later this year in Europe and Japan. The systems are expected to be sold as package deals with the purchase of a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, a plug-in hybrid electric SUV plus as a charging unit for other EV and Hybrid models (including competitor EV’s).

The system includes a small home Solar PV panel and battery system plus a bi-directional charger. Installation and maintenance is included in the package. The system can also be used to power parts of the house through a smart management system plus exploit off peak overnight EV charging from the grid.

We also challenge the funding houses and regulators and the role they play in facilitating investment into green projects. Lastly, we explore and investigate new technology and real-time data to speed up the journey in realising a net carbon zero environment for our children.
